Senior Warden

My name is Jim Pendrey and I am the Senior Warden of the City Lodge No 3568.

I was initiated into Freemasonry on 27 April 1991, passed on 22 February 1992 and raised on 26 September 1992 all in the Sir Bevis Lodge Southampton Nos 5072. I became the Worshipful Master of Sir Bevis Lodge in March 1999.

I became a joining member of the Caer Gwent Lodge Winchester Nos 5071 in the year 2000 and became the Worshipful Master in March 2005. I also held the appointments of Assistant and Director of Ceremonies from 2008 to 2013.

In January 2015 I retired and with my wife moved permanently to Durham from Hampshire. Being extremely keen to continue with my Freemasonry I contacted the City Lodge Durham Nos 3568 with a view to becoming a joining member. This was happily achieved in March 2016 and was immediately appointed as the Junior Warden.

I have the honour of being a Provincial Officer in the Province of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight with the rank of Past Provincial Assistant Grand Registrar.

I am married with two children, two step children and six grandchildren. My hobbies include cycling, gardening and enjoying a glass or two of my favorite Shiraz wine.
